New here. I found myself having a massive flare lately...
I was under GNRH for the past 4 years... and this year I have been referred to a specialist in the U.K. He decided that I needed to change my hormonotherapy (4y was too long). And I’m waiting for my surgery date.... (could take longer than 6 months to have a date according to the secretaries...)
It’s been a few days that I’m experiencing a flare stronger than the ones I could’ve had for the past few years.
I don’t quite know what to do. I am not pregnant, no infection. So the GPs prescribed me Codeine and Morphine sulfate. When saying that the pain didn’t ease on me. As soon as the meds are off It just strikes back. I’ve had to add naproxen to the mix. My tens machine is constantly on me, and yet... 3 hours pain-free seem to be a luck lately...
I let you imagine the state of my stomach and brain...
I am now really looking for ways to relieve a bit...
is there anything you’d suggest?
I really don’t want to end up in A&E....
Thank you ladies

I don’t know what to do... tomorrow I’ll call again. They told me they will try to call the gynae to see if u can get an appointment for a check anytime soon.
In the meantime my kidneys are hurting so much and I barely slept last night. I can’t take it any longer..... I’m nauseous and dizzy because of the meds and the pain is still there making me wanna carve my insides...
I am thinking to go to the hospital or no.. not knowing if this might help...!!
Hey ! Yeah I’m thankful my GP is always trying other medications. We came to the point where morphine was the “best choice”.
Obviously not really as pain is massively intense still. And I’m just exhausted of being prescribed things without a relief and with no answers obviously.
So today I called again my practice after a long weekend of struggle. And she explained that we’d come to the point where the only thing to do is asking for the laparoscopy to happen ASAP.
She explained that she sent an email to the consultant suggesting an emergency laparoscopy as the symptoms are way too strong with no relief ...
