Generally feeling unwell with endo? Feeling hot but no temp, happens all the time!

Hi all! I’m wondering if anyone suffers from the same symptoms as me? I haven’t yet had the laparoscopy to diagnose endo but gynaecologist is pretty certain because of my symptoms being identical and having lasted for 10 years now and a family history of endo.

For the past few years, every 2 weeks-1 month I’ve been feeling like I’m burning up like I’m coming down with a cold or an infection but no other symptoms except from the usual pelvic pains.. no cold/flu symptoms etc. Does anyone else experience this with endo? I’ve been to see a doctor about it a few times and all my blood results are normal and all my vitals so they tell me it’s probably down to my medication (sertraline/propanalol) but I can’t help but feel it’s not that and somehow related to my pelvic problems because when the burning up feeling comes on, the pelvic pains tend to flare up pretty bad too?

Also, for the past few days I’ve been bleeding from my back passage.. I’ve just stopped my period 2 days ago and that’s when it started. Should I be worried about this? Can this be a sign of endo? I’ve had a colonoscopy a few years ago so know I don’t have any inflammatory bowel disease or anything like that. Oh and I’m calling the doctors tomorrow to discuss all this but would really appreciate any advice anyone has. Thank you 😊

I’ve had it on and off, it’s not something I’ve kept an eye on that much, when I have, had wondered if menopause, but then period would start after a day or so. Could be related, hormones do weird things 😊

Good luck tomorrow. If you haven’t already, jot down the questions so you can make notes of answers, when I’ve remembered it’s useful.

Hi, thank you for your advice :) Definitely not the menopause as I’m only 23, probably should have mentioned that in my post 🤣 I will definitely write down my questions tonight, I think that will help me as it can sometimes get a bit overwhelming when you’ve got so much to ask.

Thank you 😊

You definitely won’t be menopause 😀. I’ve confused the doctors from that angle, keeps them on their toes 🤣

Bowel can be related to endo so worth mentioning, but could be something else as well.

It’s very overwhelming, if they say something you don’t understand don’t worry about asking them to explain. If there is someone with you and their support could be useful, maybe have the phone on speaker. It can help to have an extra pair of ears.

Hope it goes well, let us know how you get on.
