I have just had a lap 3 weeks ago and I now have a follow up appointment tomorrow . I didn't have this last time so what is this for?

They found endo and I had a biopsy and cyst removal but last time I never saw the consultant . Could it be I need further treatment?

it could be that you need further treatment, or that all the biopsy results are back , smear result if done, or it could also be to discuss ongoing methods to try and manage your periods by reducing or stopping them.

Some places routinely do follow up others don't. It's good news that they are see how you are getting on, and gives you the opportunity to discuss anything troubling you. Could be fertility or BC pills, or any other endo related health issues that you have.

Well I had it confirmed I had mild to moderate endometriosis which was removed. I should be pain free for a couple of years but it I need to I can go on is it zoladex?. The consultant has discharged me back to the gp but with the option to be reffered straight back. It has taken 2 laps and roughly 7 years to be diagnosed and treated. I feel sad I have been diagnosed with endometriosis but relieved it wasn't all in my head. I actually had a surgeon write to.my gp to say I had a mental health problem be

because I thought I was ill. So it's a massive relief

To know I was right to keep pushing.
