Creativity poll 4: if you are either MORE... - Cure Parkinson's
Creativity poll 4: if you are either MORE or LESS creative, which of the following best describes you?
The fact is the longer you have PD the more difficult life becomes, and your time gets used on doing all the little things you once thought inconsequential. The net result is less time to do enjoyable things, though when you do PD disappears from your mind as you switch into a creative mode of being.
I AGEE 0 LIFE IS JUST SO DIFFICULT AND MY HANDS DONT WORK AS WELL - SO EVEN IF I DECIDED THAT I WANTED TO DRAW OR PAINT AGAIN - I COULDNT

Having PD limited many of the hobbies I have enjoyed, so I have pursued new ways to accomplish the same thing. I can no longer knit with needles, so I revised patterns to use on a peg board and they look no different I can't garden squatting or bending over, so I either sit on the ground or stretch out on a tarp to plant and weed. I also read more. There are a host of things to do in a reclining position. this also keeps the brain working.
Whilst agreeing with all the above I feel that my creativity has not decreased but that it has diversified. I was never very good with my hands but chugged along with activities expected of females my age- sewing, knitting, gardening etc.Though not conscious of being expected to reach a standard I believe that self-doubt about my abilities probably led to stress. At present I feel motivation or lack of it is the source of any such stress. Once the initial impetus fired by an adrenalin rush gives way to inertia I rarely finish a (once exciting) project. Though there is no imperative to do so this still causes stress. I seem to have lost the pleasure of doing things for pleasure. It's as though every activity which takes precious time must be purposeful, that it can't be .....well, that it can't just be. Does this make sense?
