Supplements - are they worth trying for liver disease?

Has anyone with fibrosis or cirrhosis had any improvement from supplements? Just wondering if it’s worth trying any natural supplements since there are no pharmaceuticals to treat cirrhosis.

None of these so called remedies have any scientific backing to prove they have any positive effect on the liver and some have even been found to be further liver toxic. There is no quick fix, stopping the cause of the liver disease in the first instance then proper diet, exercise and a positive mindset are the best ways to keep the liver and yourself happy and healthy. No supplement in the world is going to 'cure' cirrhosis just empty your wallet and potentially even harm your liver further.
