I have been taking ramipril 2.5 for 2 years and my lastest blood test shows slightly raised red blood cell count, what does this mean please.

it means you have more red blood cells than u should have,the wife had a very high count stopped smoking that took it down a lot,a aspirin a day 75mg also helps,

As Peter says. A high red cell count might mean something depending how high it is. A chat with your practice nurse, if you can’t get to speak to a GP, might be a good idea.
