HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE PILLS

Hello I had a malevolent spirit attach itself to me for 32 nights in my bed last year. I went to the doctor to ask for sleeping pills to help me sleep during all this happening ( not telling her what was causing this turmoil). She took my blood pressure which was through the roof and indicated that I should go home, get an overnight bag packed and get to hospital right away. They managed to get my blood pressure down and to date I have been getting monitored while on Ramipril and Amlodopine for high blood pressure. My question is now that I am back to normal do I have to keep taking those tablets forever which I really don't want to do.

A assume that your BP was rather high due to the urgency and the fact that you require 2 different medications to control it. Many of us on this forum take 2 different BP tablets so do not be alarmed.

My BP has cycled over the years and have been on and off medication. I'm not sure what causes it to cycle as I've not changed my diet or physical activities.

Best is to keep tabs on it and see how it goes.

Have you tried sage?

Hi Thanks for your comment and I will keep tabs on it. I have burnt sage and everything else and eventually have got it to go.I'm an artist and I've painted a not quite finished painting of Jesus who sits on an easel beside my bed. Also used a diffuser with certain essential oils and to my mind this has got rid of it.

I think you will find that you will need to be on medication to control your BP. If you stop the meducation now, your BP may rise, so you then need to start taking the medication again. This then lowers your BP, so you then you stop taking medication and so it goes on in cycles. I would have thought it better to stay on the medication, seek a review with your GP to see whether any of the doses can be adjusted to maintain a level BP which is what your body needs.

Hi Thanks for your comments. Before this happened to me my blood pressure was normal. That's why I'm wondering that I need to continue with taking the pills if I don't have anything to fear now.

I would definitely discuss the situation with your GP. Tapering off the dose of your medication should give an idea of whether the high BP is temporary or permanent.

I had a similar experience and finally I have accepted taking medication for BP. I would keep taking the tablets as the medical centre will review this periodically.

Also try and help yourself by relaxing before bedtime . We sometimes overthink things and this doesn’t help.

Wishing you luck going forward.

Thanks for your reply. You're right about overthinking things. Sometimes when I go to bed my mind could run riot if I let it.

Same here we overthink and anxiety sets in. This has its effect and we feel ill.

I am best when I am busy and have company. Talking helps and support

Regardless of what caused high blood pressure the best way to find out if you are going to need them lifeling is to buy a BP monitor and take your BP at home twice a day. Obviously record it, I use a small notebook, and you will see if it starts to go down. Having been given 2 BP medications which controlled my BP, it was 2 years before it started to get lower all the time so BP meds are currently reduced, but GP has said I can out them back up if BP rises.

Thanks for your comment - I will get a BP monitor - best to be safe rather than sorry.

As Scented Gardener has said keep a diary and get a basic BP monitor take two readings a day , around the same time morning and evening after sitting with your legs raised for 15minutes ( with the monitor ready to use on your arm ) . It's better to take it a few hours after medication and at least an hour after food to get the most accurate reading. Write down your heart rate as well as your blood pressure. Also note down any times you have symptoms of breathlessness dizziness or palpitations and take a reading then whilst sitting without the wait time to note your BP and heart rate.Keep it for a month then get a consultation with the GP if your readings remain normal as you could then have to proof to ask if you could begin by lowering the dose of your medications. Then keep doing a diary over the next month to six weeks to see if your BP and heart rate remain normal or increase.

Continue any self care changes you might have already done to help your blood pressure like reducing stress, moderate exercise, changes in diet like reducing salt , sugar and saturates and mental relaxation.

Be aware that you should take care in using certain types of aromatherapy oils and smudge sticks ( burning herbs) as many of these things inhaled can raise your blood pressure or effect your medications . Some foods like garlic , ginger and turmeric and other herbal and nutrient supplements can also affect your blood pressure and how well your medication is absorbed so need to be used carefully with advice from a GP. If you check on a drug checker site it will tell you which non prescribed drugs , food and plants should be avoided with your medications.

In terms of the cause , whether you have had a malevolent spirit in your home or not you still need to take the medications and GP support that is required to treat the physical symptoms whatever brought them on.

Even if you require an exorcist they also work with a registered doctor and psychiatric advisor and local social care services and request that you treat the physical or mental symptoms of any potential possession in the conventional medical or architectural ways before applying any spiritual means of cleansing to a person or house.

Keeping both physically and mentally strong which includes following a balanced life style and taking long term treatments are also encouraged to help you defend yourself from any form of spiritual attack by providers of spiritual support.

Take care and I hope you feel well enough to continue with your artwork. Bee
