Hay fever with Paroxysmal AF

Good afternoon,I think, for the first time ever, that I've developed hay fever this year.

I currently take 1.25 of Bisoprolol & 2mg of Candestartan for high blood pressure and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.

Can I safely take hay fever tablets? The pharmacist has said that there's no reactions between the tablets but I'd rather ask on here. TIA x

Hello :-)

There is every chance you have got Hay fever this year seems to be bad I have it so bad at the moment I am coughing all sorts up as well as all the other things that come with it

Was checked by GP and she says hay fever I have and just recommended the over the counter usual tablets so I cannot see why you won't be safe and especially as you spoke to the pharmacist to :-) x

l think you will find it’s ok to take over the counter antihistamines. I asked on here a couple years ago and most people were taking something. You might find you get on better with one than the other so trial and error.

I have bad hay fever and HAVE to take antihistamine and even with it I am in a state but more bearable. I take cetirizine - 1 a day - and sniff up beaconaise. I also have antihistamine eye drops but don’t find them very efficacious. I also take Eliquis/Apixaban 5mg daily. Don’t think they interact.

I'd go with what the pharmacist says... and we can't go against medical advice.

Yes, in this case its the pharmacist's advice I would take. Us normal folks can't really help.
