Right first the good news... I'm at 94 and the doctors are pleased with my progress.
However the bad news (for me) is they want me in another day at least. But it's been going up 2% for the last couple of days so hopefully I'll be at 96 tomorrow (I know this is my normal)
Thanks for all the messages. Mum is looking forward to getting me home in time for Easter, she's promised me a big egg 😊 I'm actually looking forward to having some nice home cooked meals.

They originally said the minimum they'd discharge me was at 92 then decide as I was high risk due to my other conditions it would be 95 before they'll think about discharging me. The doctors this morning sounded quite confident that I'll be home tomorrow.
I think the nurses are enjoying Mum fussing and making them laugh 😂

Step at a time V, the last thing you want is to return there, thinking of you.
keep breathing {obversely , Im not medically trained but even I know that breathing is an important part of living }
The Easter Bunny is on her/his/they/them {or whatever it is now } way.
remember another day won’t hurt you don’t be in a rush to get back to normal life take your time .a great slab of chocolate will be waiting for you off that I’m sure .take care
Oh, I want your mum. she can come and stay with me whenever she wants. Oh to be bought an Easter egg and have someone cooking for me.
When I had pneumonia, alongside covid late last year and spent time in hospital, I came home to an empty house. My daughter dropped me off and then went back to work. My sister who lives nearby would get me some shopping, but she has no nursing manner! Be warned it can take months to pick up fully afterwards and stop coughing. Once home my SP02 would still go up and down. I would put it down to my Oximeter not working properly, never knew what I should be doing when it dropped into the 80's didn't feel that bad that I needed to go to A&E.
Take care and I hope you will soon be out of hospital.
Wow 94 already this means you will definitely be home wedensday then! ❤️
