I have just been diagnosed with calcification of the coronary artery and have been prescribed 5mg Amlodipine and 10mg Atorvastatin. Within 4 days my BP went down from average 155/100 to 128/88. However over the next couple of days it was back up to 148/99 with a high of 161/10. Why does this happen ?

Meds may need adjusting. I found 10mgs Amodipine made my legs swell - now back at 5mgs and all is OK.
