I had a small HA nearly 5 years ago and am on Asprin, Remipril, Atorvastatin and Amlodipine. Over the last 10 months I've lost almost three stone (intentionally). I feel as if my internal organs are having a few issues with not having the visceral fat I had for three decades or so! I've had digestive problems that have settled down, and I've talked with a pharmacist about my meds, the upshot of which being no change needs to be made regarding my wieght loss.
Last month we made a trip to visit my daughter for her birthday, and to cut a long story short, I was very anxious about the trip and couldn't relax. Since then, I've had palpitations - not unusual as I had them before my HA. They usually last for a few days then fade away, but I've now had daily episodes for a month. It's just a skipping irregular heartbeat and I feel no ill effects except some anxiety. I have a fitbit with an ECG app which tells me my sinus rythm is normal.
Should I be concerned or is this just something I have to put up with? My doctor has never been concerned about my palptitaions in the past, and I know my grandmother had them all her life and lived into her 90s. I'm about to go on a short break and will mke an appoitment to see my doctor, but advice or reassurance would be welcome. Thanks
