Strange surge in midriff

I get a strange rushing surge like feeling in midriff. It lasts a few seconds but very unnerving. Sometimes I get palpitations at the same time. I never know when it is going to happen Sometimes it is every day and then nothing for a few weeks. I take 1.25 bisoprolol for blood pressure but these feelings have been going on for years and because it is so hard to describe I cannot find out the cause. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar.

hi Bonny, found your news about a surge mind boggling as this happened to me about 2 days ago. I was sitting down and felt a surge from my midriff all the way down to my ankles, as though someone had just pulled the plug out of the bath. I stood up waiting to see what was going to happen next but that was it. I have put it down to blood pressure and doing my best to forget about it, but at the moment I just think "what next"

I know very scary when it happens. It makes me anxious for hours afterwards.
