Stents and anxiety

2 stents fitted july2020 age 68

I am out walking most days 3 to 4 miles

I have nervous shaking like sensations in right arm from time to time dreadful feeling not depressed doctor thinks its anxiety prescribed antidepressants they dont help

Any advice that could help

Could it be statin rouvstatin or aspirin

Hello, it's good to see you are able to exercise well after your stents were put in. In answer to your question, drug side effects can of course happen but there are alternative drugs in many cases. Looking back at your previous posts it does seem you have had issues since your stents last year but it's entirely possible that something else is the cause other than drug side effects - our bodies do not last forever. We are not medically qualified here but doctors can sometimes have problems diagnosing things when the symptoms are not clear, so I would suggest you keep a diary and note down the time and date when the shaking symptoms happen and what you were doing when they happened. This will help you and the doctor track down what is happening. In the mean-time please enjoy your long walks !
