One Sunday the forum arranged a gym day. Two members turned up thinking t was GIN tasting!
The email also reminded those prone to angina to remember their GTN spray. Two members brought along bottles of GIN. Fortunately, someone else had brought tonic!
We have a new machine in the gym. After half-an-hour I felt quite nauseous. I had had a walnut whip, a Mars bar, a Snickers but I think the liquorice finished me off!
Wolf (the Gladiator) visited our gym once. Afterwards the gym needed an hour to recover.
Wolf had a longer workout one day. It is repeated each year as the Hertfordshire Mini Triathlon.
Me: What’s that piece of equipment
Trainer: That’s a bench Sir!
Me: That will do nicely
Old Tommy Cooper one - I rang the gym and asked f they could teach me the splits. They said are you flexible? I replied “I can do any day except Tuesday”!
I go to cardio three times a week. Would go more often if it was not so hard to park nearby.
For strength I lift weights. For cardio I lift them faster!
My session at the gym was a waste of time. I forgot my phone so could not put it on Facebook!
