Upping dose

I have been on 10mg of Citalopram since last October however now I feel that I am slowly going back to how I felt before starting them I feel down a lot Again etc.. I never wanted to up my dose but feel I might need to. Is it normal to have a blip on anti depressants?

Absolutely it is everyone is different. 10mg of citalipram is only half a dose 20mg is considered a therapeutic dose but you can easily go up to 40mg. I would speak to your gp say how you feel.

This has happened to me in the past on an antidepressant. I found an initial benefit, but then plateaued and even dipped down. It was just a matter of finding the right dose for me.
