another frustrating night…intermittent heart palpitations from 5-530 pm and then more from 11pm until 1245am…nothing fast but all skipping, like every other beat to every 20th beat….had bad day at work as I am an er nurse….wondering if that cause the arrhythmia today….im currently on no medications and cardiology just monitors me with a pill in the pocket approach when things get bad by taking diltiazem…wondering if my pulmonary Veins are reconnecting after 8 years of normal sinus rhythm 90% of time. Last 7 days have been rough with intermittent palpitations and huge stressor of good friend dying…I am so scared my pulmonary veins are reconnecting, please offer some words of encouragement and thank you. God bless…

Stress is probably the biggest issue for AF. The good news is that most of us think it is not possible to change our current lifestyle choices or approach to circumstances - but yes there is another life out there, equally enjoyable and healthier 🤞🙏🏻 😃!

Are you taking an anticoagulant? I think it is important if you need too. Stress is a key trigger in causing AF and anxiety goes hand in hand along with it all. It’s not just AF but the company it keeps! Get checked out if your arrhythmia continues because worry will make it worse.
