Hi Wodney - While visiting my cardiologist this week I picked up an information booklet on ICD's and in there it says you can start most of you normal activities within a few weeks.
You may be able to find the booklet online. It's a British Heart Foundation one called Implantable cardioverter defibrillators, search on:
