My dad passed away today. I'm shattered. To my awesome, Super fantastic dad, You beat cancer because you are free now. You fought right until the end with all your heart and soul to the last second, and you won!! Nothing can hurt you now... My heart is so proud to have had you as my dad, I never thought of, or wanted anything more, you gave me everything in my life I could have asked for.
Fly free my precious dad. Love, love and more love is all I have in my heart for you. Rest in absolute peace.

So sorry for you, brother, step-mother, family and friends. I know the last 6 months have been terrible for all of you and your father. He has found peace and now you may find peace and acceptance. It may take a little time, but I am sure you will arrive there someday. It has not been a good week for this community. You are not alone in your grief. I wish all of you well on your future paths.
As a another Dad with this 'condition' I can tell you that you are all, and more, a daughter than any man could wish for. Go forward and have a great life. He would agree, I know...
What a beautiful tribute. I am so sorry for your families loss. My heart breaks but know that you and yours are in my and my hubbys thoughts and prayers. I cry with you...
My condolences to you and your family , may GOD give you strength and peace. I know your dad was proud of you as you stood by his side during the hard times , may your love create a hope that one day you will see see him again. GOD bless you !!!
You have been a daughter with so much love for your dad and all the same you seem to understand what life is in face of death. Your father must have been really blessed to have such a beloved and caring daughter by his side till the end of his life.
Remember that when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now.
We are all very much touched by your words, and stand together In your loss. We feel, and are comforted by, your deep love for your Dad. God bless you and your family.
Unfortunately, many of us participants '/patients' families will be dealing with this eventuality sooner than later. We fight as much as we can for as long as we can.
What a sweet tribute to a man who loved you dearly. He would have had to. He was lucky to have someone like you in his life and in his corner. Till time allows you back together again, may your heart find peace!

This is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful, loving dad with an equally amazing daughter. May God give you comfort in this heart breaking time in your life but please rest assured, you have many many special memories to keep your dad alive in your heart and my faith assures me that you will see him again.

Sounds like your Dad fought the good fight. Yes you are correct, he won he does not have cancer now. Bravo to him for his fight and his courage. Take Care, Monty
Such a beautiful tribute to "super fantastic dad" can only come from a super fantastic daughter Bless you both. When in GOD'S time I shall have become "free" of this same dreaded affliction I shall wear a happy face consoled by the thought that I deserve a similar tribute. 12SABONG35
What a sweet and gentle looking man. If I had to picture what a "father of the year" looked like, I would have definitely picked your father. You both were lucky to have each other to love and cherish one another. Yes I agree with you that your father actually won the battle of his disease since "nothing can hurt him now". May he live on through your and your family's memories of him and from his love for all of you. May he rest in peace at God's side. God Bless.
I was off this site for a bit and just saw this. I'm so sorry to hear of another brother taken by this damn cancer. Your poignant post brought tears to my eyes, I have a daughter also - she's after 4 boys. A daughter and Dad have a special bond and that shows with your post. If you would like, I'm doing the Surf City marathon and I wear a back bib honoring those who've passed. I can add your Dad's name to it for the run this Feb 0/3.
Check my others posts for previous pics. Rest in Peace sir and suffer no more.
