I have just started on Zytiga (with prednisone) after considering of not going through because of unaffordable cost. Fortunately I was helped by Patient Advocate Foundation to offset the 33% co-pay required by my insurance for the FIRST month's supply. For those of you that have been down this path for a year or more, when it is time to refill, do these co-pay help resources continue to help? How did you manage to get your supplies for 1+ years funding wise? Thanks.

Zytiga cost - long term info
just before my husband died last month, the VA sent him three bottles of Zytiga which they refuse to take back...maybe 4, if i am not mistaken...all sealed, all unexpired. not sure how legal it is to gift it, but if we could make some arrangement to converse off this site, i would be glad to help you defray at least some cost. you can just have it. it would make him very happy to help someone from the wild blue yonder, as it would me. it gave him over three years before switching to XTANDI. You'll have to figure out a way for us to email or phone. i'm not too good with this computer stealth stuff. anyone got any ideas how to communicate with someone off this site?
To Wifeofvet and to Walter_Gould,
Bless you both.
Good Luck and Good Health.

Check with Cancer Care, also check with Oncologist's office for small grant application. Best wishes.🙏🏽
