Hi my 10yo son is on sertraline and intuniv. He went from 1mg to 2mg a couple months ago and I've noticed an increase in his complaints about stomach aches and motion sickness. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any advice to help alleviate the stomach ache? It could be caused by something else but the frequency has increased when we went from 1mg to 2mg.
I would like to keep him on these meds as it is helping and going through the trial and error of medication changes is so tough.

Thanks. He takes his meds at night, and complains of a stomachache after breakfast. I've stopped giving him milk in the morning and that seems to help for now. Sometimes it seems like it's reflux, and other times maybe he is just hungry. I don't think he's aware of how much the meds are helping. Not actually sure how to bring up that conversation but I should work on that. THanks for your input, I appreciate it.
I wonder if you gave him a "snack" before bed if that would help with the stomachace.
From my experince it takes a long time for them to really understand the hug help the medications help him.
Our son is 16 year and about 1 year ago he told me he could not "feel"the difference, but knew they helped becuase he was not getting into trouble when he took them.
