ADHD exercises for child

What are some exercises we can incorporate to help my 6 year old so he doesnt throw a tantrum at school when he feels upset/angry ?

Following as my 6 yo is having the same issue at school.

My son's IEP allows him to take breaks with the para. At that age, he often took a walk around the school halls with the para and they did silly walks to let off steam. Getting out of the classroom also really helped.

Other things he's done include breathing exercises. The Breathe, Think, and Do app by Sesame Street is great and so are the little Daniel Tiger songs. There's a mantra for every situation!

Practice modeling your own emotional regulation. Tell them when you are feeling uppset, sad, overwhemled and what you are going to do to make yourself feel better, ie take a break, go for a walk, draw, yoga, deep breathing, heavy lifting, talk to a friend .

Acknowleging their feelings is really powerful too. "I can see you are feeling really angry right now"
