Weird test results
I tried to post my results the other day in the hope that one of our amazing Admins might be kind enough to give their opinion but the photo came out blurred for some reason. I take 3 grains of Armour which I’ve been doing since 2017 and up to now have been ok. However the last three to four months

confused but relieved
so today I went for a second opinion to another neurologist. My last grf was 48. It has been 36. He didn’t seem concerned. As he said people with stage three can live along time. My creative was 1.2 Which was not bad according to him. He found no blood in my urine. My blood pressure was fine. He

unknown rash
hi everyone! Last week I posted pictures of my son’s face rash asking if it looked like cutaneous lupus. For those who are just reading now, he had this rash for about two months now— started on his ear which was raw red then went away. A few weeks later the rash developed bright red spots on his face

Negative test results - Gutted
Hi, I'm new to this group but have found it very useful during the TWW. I've just undergone my first ICSI cycle and today did a pregnancy test. It was negative and despite trying to be prepared it's hit me hard. I'm 39 years old, turning 40 this year. Had an ecoptic pregnancy 2 years ago and after almost

MediAlert bracelet for private T3 anybody?
A post by Rapunzel mentioned someone who was left untreated with T3 in hospital as they were on a private prescription. It made me think on the idea of getting a MediAlert bracelet for the private T3 issue. I wondered if anyone does this already and am interested in opinions as to whether the hospitals

Technical question-is there a difference between making your own T3 or taking synthetic T3 physically?
Could you feel a difference between the 2? I wondered whether making your own might reach other places the synthetic stuff might not be able to reach? Or are they both exactly the same? Thanks.

WHEN YOUR SPUTUM TEST COMES BACK ‘CLEAR’
How many times have members (particularly those with bronchiectasis)written that they feel ill, have purulent sputum and lots of it and yet have been told that their sputum test has come back ‘clear’ and so have been left with no or insufficient antibiotic treatment to battle on, knowing full well that

HiI found out I had APS during my 8th pregnancy in 2006. I had PEs. Fast forward to 2024. One of my adult daughters had PEs in pregnancy, horrific treatment from hospital, which was minutes from losing both my daughter and her baby (at 39 weeks) I'm now waiting to have a genetic test for APs as I

Wait time for food and drink after thyroxine
hi I have just been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and will start taking thyroxine tomorrow morning. I usually wake at 6.30 and will take then. NHS and endocrinology guidance says wait half an hour before having any food and drink, but I notice this forum advises an hour. I’m not worried about eating

Hi all, Back again! As always, grateful for thoughts. I've been on Carbimazole 10mg BD and Propanalol 40mg TDS for about 10 days now. My heart rate before treatment was sitting around 130/140 with a peak of 167. Has been sitting 55-75 since starting Propanalol. Bloods before treatment for free T4

Lyme disease
I found out recently I have Lyme disease, that’s why I’ve been deficient in vitamin B12, Vitamin D and Iron. As Lyme makes you deficient in all three! I’m still continuing B12 injections, taking vitamin D and taking heme iron tablets. Thinking of going back on iron/ferritin peptides as they have less

1 1/2yrs of treatment and I’m getting worse again.
Need advice. I’m concerned. I was diagnosed with PA (lack IF via blood test) a year and a half ago. I have been on daily Hydroxo injections since. I started at a high concentrated dose (I’m in US) of 5,000mcg day and dosed it down to 1,750mcg day. I maintained this dose for 6 plus months and still

vitamins to help thyroid
Hello, has anyone got any tips of vitamin complexes to help under active thyroid? I have recently upped my vit d, my B12 and found a complex that says it helps the body convert t4 to t3. I’ve been taking them all about two weeks and I do think that I’m less exhausted than I was. I’m hopeful that it

my T3 goes out of date 31st May and I still have a whole box left. I could do without another £99 cost 😭 do you reckon it would be ok for the next 2 months?

First PSA post surgery
Hello, Just had my first 3 month PSA test post surgery. <0.01. Good news but need to monitor every 3 years due to intraductal component. I just want to thank everyone that has been so supportive and has given me positive feedback on this forum. I am also getting genetic testing done this week as well

Sometimes the solution is simple !
Getting through the winter isn’t isn’t easy, is it friends ? This one was a long one and once the spring is on its way my energy levels, enthusiasm and motivation get going and life opens up again. It didn’t happen this year though. Asthma COPD for 21 years….was it all getting to the body ? No energy
