OCD Coach Verses Therapy

I keep hearing about OCD coaches, but I am not quite sure where these fit into the whole treatment of OCD in general and how they differ from what my therapist is already doing. I am currently giving ERP/CBT another try with a new therapist. It is a slow process, and all seems okay, but I feel like I am needing something more out of all of this and want to really push myself, but I am having a hard time sitting with the anxiety. I have contamination OCD, and I'm just having a really tough time between traditional therapy sessions. I don't have a lot of support at home...in fact I don't have any. I am in an emotional abusive marriage , and my husband is pretty over my OCD. He doesn't want to hear one thing about it and often ridicules me for my disorder, even though I am trying to make every stride to get better. It is not an easy go as many of you already know. He even complains about the fact that I am just wasting money for doctors and therapists to get better. He is the only person around, so as you can imagine my support system is next to none, and the stress alone makes my recovery even more hard to handle (there is a lot of yelling, cussing and anger on his part because if my disorder...this often drives my anxiety levels through the roof even more than what the actual OCD triggers do). The only support I have is during my therapy sessions, but that doesn't seem to be enough, particularly during those times in the week when I am in between sessions. I have heard of OCD coaches, but I am not quite sure what they do or where they fit in with treatment. Can anyone shed some light on this if they have experience with one? Thank you in advance
