I posted on here recently that I am a 39-year-old man who has health anxiety OCD, continually worried about having dementia. Well, last night I Googled the progress in finding a cure for Alzheimer's. One of the things I found out is that some months ago scientists announced that a medical condition I have had (I won't name it here because I don't want to scare anyone else who has or has had it) increases your chances of getting Alzheimer's.
Since them I have freaking out. I am literally in tears right now.

I have found that Google can sometimes be your worst enemy with OCD.
Something I try to remind myself of...will worrying make ANY difference in the outcome? You can spend your time worrying about what might happen, or not worrying, and the result will be the same either way. Might as well spend it in a positive way, right?
I’m sorry you are having such a difficult time right now. Have you done any counseling or therapy?
There is an anxiety community on here you can join too! I struggle with health anxiety as well. Do not google your symptoms it will only make u feel worse. Not everything on there is accurate. You should see your doctor if it is concerning you!!
