when I will be able to play sport after circumsision ?

I had a circumsision on the 1st of may due to phimosis and unfortunately had a wound infection, thankfully that’s healed however I’ve seen online and been told by doctors that you can play sport after 4-6 weeks. I was hoping to see how realistic this is as I can’t imagine myself playing sport any time soon and was just wondering if anyone had any advice or had experienced this?

Hi. It's all down to individual comfort. After 6 weeks the wound is properly healed so it's just about sensitivity and soreness and how it affects you. Assuming when you say 'sport' you don't mean Chess. lol then I would strap it up tight to minimise movement and use Vaseline to stop rubbing.

ah okay yeah I was hoping to be able to get back to playing football soon, do you have any recommendations on what to use to wrap it up ?

Devon-uk hit it on the head when he said it's down to individual comfort. Listen to your body, you'll know when you feel up to sport again. Glad your infection cleared up, mate.

I would also suggest wearing one of those plastic sports protectors in your pants, as you may need to be stretchered off if you get a straight ball flying straight into your penalty area 😀,

Don’t forget that the wound infection is likely to increase your healing time

That depends on the level and extent of the infection.

ah right okay I mean I had a course of antibiotics which ran for about a week which thankfully got rid of it, I’ve heard different doctors say different things. Some say it adds time and others don't
