I'm new here...I've had PTSD since February 2018 when my close aunt collapsed at work after suffering from a heart attack unexpectedly and she had no oxygen to the brain and that scared me very very badly then the day before Mothers Day she passed away. Also lost my grandparents years before. Now ever since then I've been fearing death of a loved one and myself or fear that something bad is going to happen which is also major anxiety. I also don't have any friends and I'm afraid of losing my mom because she's like my bestie and if something happens to her I fear of being alone which is very very scary to me. Also I've been bullied my whole life and that has left me very depressed.

Hi DT33,

Welcome to the community.

Thank you for sharing your story and opening up. It's a very important step...

I suffered traumatic losses and I can relate to the fear.

It's understandable after what you have been through.

It might be helpful to talk to a therapist about how you feel and create a plan.

I was on my own and it is a scary and very tough place to be in especially when very young.

You can build your support system and a therapist might suggest strategies to cope with fear.

Sending heartfelt support and I'm really sorry you are struggling...

Welcome to this forum, DT33. I'm so sorry that you were bullied. That is such a difficult experience.

When you are close to people you love, their passing feels so hard. I lost my brother 6 years ago, and I still have times when I miss him deeply.

If you can find a good therapist, they would be able to help you with all these challenging feelings. I have found therapy with a good therapist extremely helpful when I felt stuck, and I developed a much deeper understanding of myself and greater self-compassion.

I'm sending you support and courage.

Welcome to this forum ! I’m sorry that you’ve been bullied. Fearing loss is difficult and I’ve struggled a bit too with that. It can become overwhelming so I feel that it is important to try and get a check on it. But at the same time it is important to honour grief and allow it to reshape our life. It can be a teacher and make us grow and see life differently or rather more preciously.

I’m glad you’re here. We are glad you’re sharing your real self.

It’s okay to be afraid everyone is.

I think we are all afraid of abandonment.

Yet your value is not based on how others treat you,

You are amazing, can do anything, you can be anything you want to be.

Enjoy the moments with your family. Find one thing you’re good at and do that.

You will be fine. Allow yourself to heal through the moments.

Take care.
