Hello....I am here and happy to help in any way I can. Will try to be concise. G-9...radiation only(28 sessions IMRT) a breeze. Declined lupron...because of a continuing anxiety condition. Metastices showed up 14 most later...PSA 6.7 up to 16.2 in 6 weeks. PSMA pet showed two rib mets and 1 other on the pubic ramus. Radiated all at Mayo/Jax...psa 16.2...down to 7...last PSA earlier this week two 4.9. What else can I help you with? Prostatectomy OR radiation? Radiation everytime. ...at least for me.

Like you I had radiation, declined ADT hormone therapy, and have mets. Plus cancer still in prostate. My big mistake was not taking ADT. I am finally on Orgovyx (with Abiraterone) and it is not unpleasant at all.
I had a prostatectomy, Lupron, and pelvic radiation afterwards. I say go with radiation.
Can't comment on your Pca but you better take care of your stuttering.
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

I would at least try ADT with abiraterone. If the side effects are bad you can stop them. In terms of prolonging life nothing else works as well.
I have been most fortunate to have a great care team from Mayo. I had a prostectomy in 2007 at Froedert in Milwaukee. It was caught early but the surgery did not get it all unfortunately and wait and see was not an option , so they next radiated the platform on which slowed the spread. I have had all the treatments from hormone therapy to chemotherapy. I have been blessed on my journey as I now have seven grandchildren aged 15 down to one. I have survived to see them blossom.
I was fortunate to be treated with Pluvicto recently. My metastasis are in my spine and numerous other places. The Pluvicto worked well for me but as I understand it only works in 35% of people treated. If you are eligible it is one of the last treatments that work effectively with Stage 4.
My best wishes to you on your journey.
