I was out in the freezing cold all day and was very breathless and coughing continually and got little relief from my inhaler (
symbicort
) This continued on mon and tues, but I put it down to being out in the cold shopping.

Alternative to singulair for night time symptoms
Since Jan thought had cracked it, when I started on Singulair 10mgs daily,
Symbicort
400-2 puffs twice a day, about to reduce to one puff, and Ventolin as needed, also Avamys nasal spray each morning, as respiratory consultant seems to think my asthma seems to be triggered by amongst other things post

why is it, when you lay down, you start coughing?
As part of my night routine i take my medicines, inhaler (
Symbicort
400/12), Cetirizine 10mg and Singulair 10mg. (I call this my supper). The Cetirizine makes me drowsy so this is why i take it at night. Is there something else i can do or try? Does anyone have any ideas?

Just need some advice
Basically, I was on
symbicort
200/6, saw GP, was changed to Seretide, then to beclomethasone with serevent, then back to
symbicort
but the 400/12. Was taking 2 puffs twice a day and for a bit, was ok, got worse again, so dr put me on singulair.

All these foreign medicines
I went into the clinic with dodgy lungs and sinuses earlier this week and got prescribed new medication (the doc said something about being newer, better and less fattening XD) Two most people already know -

Stopped meds
I usually take
symbicort
200/6 twice a day and salbutamol as and when. Should I be feeling crap with not having any meds and know I am probably pushing my luck but makes me wonder if I've gone this long do I really need the meds? Just wondered what people thought Smithy

newbie
I am currently taking
symbicort
, ventolin as and when ( a lot at the moment!), montekulast, loratidine and mucodyne. Still feeling tight and short of breath so trying to take it easy. It's nice to be able to write this down knowing that you will all understand what I am going through!
