Heights Smart Supplement - should I stop? Advice
Hi guys, After recently finding out I have Hashimotos (going to the Dr on Thursday) I have been taking stock on what I take and whether it is beneficial to me or could cause harm. I take the Heights Smart Supplement and wondered what you guys thought of what is inside it. I was mainly worried because

Experiences?
Does anyone have experiences with Belsomra or Dayvigo? I'm a hypermetabolizer of both Remeron (which I'm on) and Ambien in both normal and cr forms (which I'm on). Sleep is horrible and I was hoping Belsomra I wouldn't be a hypermetabolizer and could actually sleep.

Morphea treatment - PUVA or triamcinolone injections?
hello, looking for a bit of advice as I was diagnosed with Morphea a few months ago. I’m under the care of dermatology department. It affects my whole left arm, part of my rib cage and some of my right arm. The worst area is around my left wrist where the skin is particularly tight around the joint

Pain control with PLMD
I take 100 mg Lyrica for PLMD, the lowest possible dosage as I never have been able to shake the daytime sedation. Now I have some kind of pinched nerve that has been causing chronic pain. Tylenol is not sufficient (I am going to try a lidocaine patch today for the first time and hope that will help

Vitamin A,D,E,K deficiency..
After gall bladder surgery my Doctors in India recommended no vitamin supplements . Read somewhere about possible fat soluble Vitamin deficiency after gall bladder removal. Is it safe to take Vitamin D with Vit K2 as MK7 as a supplement ?. Is it true that Vitamin D , if taken alone would cause Calcium

lexapro for anxiety?
I recently started back on Lexapro after weaning off Remeron; TERRIBLE transition. Insomnia, gas, but now also anxiety, so even if I CAN sleep, I wake up anxious and can't stay in bed even though I'm exhausted. Anyone else having this reaction? I'm taking 4mg, thinking of going up to 5mg.

vitamin A test results
I’d be very grateful for an opinion on my vitamin A test results from Medichecks. (My GP told me ‘We don’t test vitamin A’, (!!!?), so I got private testing, though it’s not one of the cheaper tests. ) I know conversion of beta-carotene to retinol can be an issue in hypothyroidism, and although I have

New member with lots of questions about levo and NDT
Hi everyone, I just joined. My name is Anna and I am from Denmark. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto´s disease in December 2002, based on a high TSH, low FT4, and high anti-TPO and anti-TG levels. I was told it was very easy to manage, and that all I needed to do was to take levothyroxine until my TSH

Growing Challenge - Pea Shoots
Who wants to join me to see how each of us get on?
This autumn is going to be a first for me. Not sure how it will turn out but I will be growing Pea Shoots and picking them fresh for my salad. No more bagged pea shoots from the supermarket and in the long term will be cheaper and much fresher

Vitamin A and liver enzymes
I’ve been eating about 4 oz (115 grams?) of veal liver each day for the past week. I know it has nutrients that are healthy for the liver, but it’s also very high in vitamin A (I think I had about 25,000-30,000 IUs per day on those days). I’ve read that such doses can be damaging to the liver (and

what do you do when you feel a cold coming on?
any magic potions, supplements, herbs? I just started sneezing, my husband just had it, I’d really like to keep it from getting worse. Now that I’m finally getting better sleep. Sneezing kept waking me last night. I’ve heard megadose vitamin A 50-100,000 iu for 3-5 days, same with vitamin D, 3-5

Husband so sick but not sure what’s going on
Hi this is my first time posting but I’ve been reading for a long time and I’m hoping someone here can shed light on what’s happening to my husband. He was diagnosed in 2013 with early onset (age 57) idiopathic Parkinson’s (rigidity and no tremors) and put on Sinemet and had two months of feeling better

This might be of interest for anyone who struggles to raise their iron levels or is frequently anaemic or nearly anaemic
I should point out that this paper is old. It was first published in 2000. The second thing I want to point out is that it has 176 references, which to my mind is quite bizarre, but some of them could be of interest. And thirdly, the link is to the abstract only but there is an option to "Save PDF

Hashimotos fatigue
I was given Novothyral 2 years ago by a FM doc but recent tests showed antibodies so saw an endocrinologist. She diagnosed hashimotos but said the Novothyral dose isn’t right. I started taking levothyroxine straight away about 2 weeks ago but I’m still waiting for my order of T3 to come through, since

Test Results after discussion on here
Hi folks, hot of the press so to speak and on the attached screenshot. The doctor's comments are below this message. They are not what I was expecting, especially as I inject B12 1mg only once a month, but data analysis works more than one way and unless I'm reading it wrongly, I can cancel out any sort

Co-supplementation of Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 MK7 and Calcium
Unless you are actively increasing your Vitamin K2 MK7 levels through diet or supplementation, you are likely deficient and have inadequate levels for your bone and heart health needs. Vitamin K2 MK7 dosage recommendation is 150 to 180 mcg per day. Consult with your physician and a Registered Dietitian
