back after 2 years.
i’ve been finding comfort in my family and friends for the past year, which is why I haven't posted. But lately anxiety has been catching up to me. The feeling of nothing being real, the heart racing, the impending doom, depression. No matter how much i try to keep it together to try and find a solution

Is it all worth it?
Finally it's time. I'm going to move out of my house and not only the house but the city. I don't know how to translate my feelings in words. I'm happy but a little nervous, relieved but also anxious. I don't know why I'm feeling this. I've wanted this for long. Things have been the same as they

Been dealing with depression and anxiety for a long time. I probably dealt with it to a lesser degree unknowingly previously. Back in 2005 i had a breakup that wasn't particularly bad but it was a trigger for me and something broke. I Started with zoloft, effexor, lexapro. Most recently i was prescribed

Depression sucks
I have been struggling for two year. In the last two years I have been hospitalized 5 times. I found that ECT/shock therapy, is the only thing that helps. So I started about a month ago feeling better and the depression was lifting. So I changed my ECT to every other week and it was going well, however

Hi my name is Margaret
I'm 54 years old and thrive off of stress and am anxiety ridden. After 3 failed marriages, 5 children and a serious alcohol problem, I am just now addressing issues that are almost as old as I am. You see. I never felt safe as a child. I used to hide in places before I can remember. Mom told me later

Brutal Panic/Anxiety
Can anyone provide some advice?? I've dealt with severe anxiety and depression for 30+ years. I had it under control up until 3 weeks ago. Out of nowhere, my anxious stomach came roaring back and is worse than ever. It's 24/7. My Dr just put me on Vilazodone Any advice/help??

Getting divorced
Hi. My wife and I separated 8 months ago. She is ready to move on and I am not. When she told me she was dating I responded with hurt and anger and a few choice words. I soon broke down, crying uncontrollably, anxiety like I’ve felt only one other time in my life, when my mother died. I checked

Citalopram & Mirtazapine
Hello, so I've been back on 10mg of Citalopram now for a week - after a few weeks on Mirtazapine. All the side effects I was feeling from either coming off one and starting the other (Mirtazapine) have gone. My question is and still doctors just ignore when I say this, two days after switching tablets

Pergoveris vs gonal f
Hello, not sure if anyone can answer this but I thought I’d ask in any case. I did my first IVF round at the age of 35 using gonal f. This was successful. Fast forward to current time and I’ve been on pergoveris for my last two rounds which has not been very successful. We have decided to do another

Hynotherapy for student writing phobia
Does anyone have any knowledge of the treatment's effectiveness. I have ADHD, Asperger's and I am a mature student. I have had a severe writing phobia for several years and I am looking at online therapy from Anxiety UK.

New job, Anxiety Attack
Hello all. I’ve been struggling with the decision to pursue a job requiring me to move over 2000 miles away from Florida to Arizona. Ever since interviewing for the job I’ve been preparing for the move by applying for rental housing and other preparations in case I got the offer. Yesterday I received

Expressing
I like to come here and express my feelings because I feel like No one else will understand me like you guys! Because we experience similar to exact symptoms. My husband wanted to take me out for Lunch so Again I’m having anxiety! I feel like i developed agoraphobia. I don’t ever want to leave my house

Agoraphobia
I'm agoraphobic on the severe side, but have only experienced for the last two years. Part of my anxiety disorder is genetically induced (maternal grandmother) and the other part stems from several difficult events that all happened around the same time: the loss of many precious keepsakes in a major

Feeling lonely
Alone and kinda sad. Social anxiety and agoraphobia keeps me from going out and being myself and making connections with others in my life. I don't mean to post a 'oh poor me' post again. But I'm just getting it out instead sitting here and and get more depressed.

worn out
I am just worn out. I have battled anxiety my whole life. I’ve been to several different therapists, psychiatrists, and primary care. They all seem to help at first, but then give up on me. The last med is zoloft and Abilify. I quit the Abilify cause it kept me awake all night. They won’t change me from
