Ferritin and folate levels
I have pituitary failure and it's taken me almost 20years to get myself sorted. I take T3 in the form of Cytomel which is reluctantly prescribed by my local Endo but beyond that they are totally useless. I now see a specialist in Leicester who has got a better idea and I now have hydrocortisone, growth

WHERE TO FROM HERE
Hi. I am 10 months post thyroidectomy. I am well and am on 180ndt a day as a single dose. My GP is telling me he is concerned about such a high dose and feels I am using the NDT as a stimulant to live my active lifestyle. My GP has told me he is worried about me and the 180ndt is as addictive as nicotine

thyroid results
I have just received my recent thyroid results from a blood test 13 months ago it was 1.3 and now 2.6 have been taking 50 mg of Levothyroxine been on this dosage for the last 10 years. I asked my Gp if l needed to increase the dosage and he advised it’s still in the normal range.

thanks and appreciation this Thyroid Awareness Week
Was thinking about doing a post whilst trying to sleep last night. Then got up to lovely replies to my query yesterday. Just wanted to say thank you and show huge appreciation to everyone - the admins, all who post and comment. I think of you all as my thyroid tribe, we are unlikely to meet but I know

How to Stop Medication
Hello, I am desparately wanting to come off my thyroid medication, been on it too long, in my view, but no dr will help me. I am very keen to try to heal my thyroid condition (if I actually have one) with a good diet or change of diet. I believe it is possible, but the medical profession seem to want

World Thyroid Day
Dear Thyroid People, just wondering if the group as a whole is taking any action to promote the current woeful situation of treatment? Sorry if I’ve already missed a thread on this.

Autoimmune condition
Hi everyone. The results from my ANA and ENA came back with a broad diagnosis of connective tissue disease. They've ruled out lupus. This plus the thyroid stuff is going to be fun to deal with 😅. The Coeliac disease test was inconclusive because my GP forgot to advise me to have bread for at least 4

Graves test results
Here’s the latest test results, apparently I am testing negative for the graves antibodies, I don’t fully understand what it all means and would really appreciate any advice.

Graves’ disease 3 years down the line
After 2 years on medication for Graves’ disease I finally have the letter from endocrinologist saying I’m to stop taking block and replace, Really nervous about it which is ridiculous because I didn’t want to rely on medication in the first place and now I’m worried about stopping. I just wondered

Human growth hormone (particularly zomacton but advice on any be grateful) side effects/,did it help/costs thanks
Just wondering anyone who took human growth hormone what side effects you had?? I've been recommended zomacton 4mg every 4 days for 6 weeks before egg collection just wondering what others were recommended dosage wise? And also how much and where you got it? And most importantly did it help? Thanks
