is this psoriatic arthritis?
The other problem that is happening in parallel is a supposedly 'frozen' shoulder for which i had an
arthroscopy
decompression about 2.5 months ago. The pain runs through the full length of my arm at any time and there are days when it's constant.

Random question but for anyone who has any degenerative joint problems alongside their Lupus....
I need to find a really good hip surgeon in the North West. I only moved from the Midlands in the summer after bilateral hip arthroscopies in July (one of the so far unexplained things that has suddenly happened in the last 18 months alongside all of the other Lupus-like and auto-immune symptoms). Does anyone have lupus like symptoms which the Doctors maintain are Fibromyalgia? Is this normal?
Hi, I've just had the results back from a battery of tests carried out by the hospital after my fibro symptoms of 4 years suddenly developed over the last 12 months. Muscle pain moved to joints, particularly wrists (carpal tunnel), base of thumbs, hips, knees, ankles and feet and pain worse AFTER rest

RLS and Arthritis, driving me insane!
I recently had an
Arthroscopy
done on my knee and since then the pain and RLS has been worse. I was on 3 x 1mg of Ropinrole but have had to increase this to 4, but this isn't really helping. I have been prescribed anti inflamitories (diclofenac) and wonder if this is making things worse.

Advice
Hi all I had an
arthroscopy
on my right knee approx. 18 months ago which was a great success. I now have to have the same done on my left knee in a few weeks. As a result of this my right knee has become very painful again and is slightly bowing.

Hi I had an
arthroscopy

Back to the Rhuemy on Monday
I'm now 7 weeks post knee
arthroscopy
& it is still painful. My whole body aches & I feel unwell most of the time & am really fed up with it! I think I need to go up to the next level of drugs, at present I'm on Sulfa & hydrochl & am hoping that the Dr will put me on MTX.

Been to see the orthopod re knees
I had an
arthroscopy
3 weeks a go & went back yesterday to get the results. The good news was that the top of the femur on one side was ok; the bad news was the most of the rest of the knee was either lacking in cartilage or minimal cartilage. There was also a tear which he tidied up.

Arthroscopy!
The problem with having arthroscopys for RA is that it makes everything else ache as well! Crutches are not easy as they make your hands hurt; the other hip gets sore because you're using it more!!! It's all very boring!!!

Update on what's been going on.
At the same time my left knee has got worse & was painful & very swollen, it was suggested that I needed an
arthroscopy
as the drugs weren't working. I had it done yesterday, the news wasn't as good as I'd hoped, there is quite a lot of damage.

A little bit about myself.....
I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid 5 years ago, since then I have had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands,
arthroscopy
surgery on left knee, steroid injections in both hips, diagnosed with spondylososis in upper spine, had numerous physio sessions for knees, hips, spine and shoulders.

Great weekend but bad week now
Plus now I've discovered that my upcoming knee op isn't going to be the simple
arthroscopy
I was originally led to believe - 3 days in hospital and 4 weeks on crutches - dreading the pain element more.

Doc update...not convincing...
The stupid thing is...I was actually there to see him about the already diagnosed severe osteoarthritis in my knees and what to do to manage the pain in my knees...he didn't even look at them...just said it was fibro...despite just having had an
arthroscopy
to determine the bleedin' arthritis!!!
