AF seems to have settled down. No more problems
I was diagnosed with AF about two years ago and was given amiodarone and a lot of other medicine.. None of which helped very much. And I had long periods of leaving me out of breath. I I then read on the Internet that losing weight and getting back to normal weight could reduce AF by 65%. I was so desperate

Bisoporol and Adizem - Heart Rate and Palpitations
My AF journey started apparently in or around 2010 at which time I was woken with chest an jaw pain with a pulse rate of around 140BPM and blood pressure that could not really be measured, the episode lasted around 2-3 hours. At this point in time I had been on Bisoporol for around 3-4 years for nothing

Checkup - another six months done
Well, here I am and I'm quite pleased/relieved. Currently sitting drinking a cup of tea in The Christie having had my six month review. I went into it with a little trepidation I have to admit. In Nov I had a blood test at my GP and my platelets had dropped to 123, a repeat at GP in December saw it

Ramipril reaction
Ramipril can cause serious stomach problems. I was suffering for years until eventually I had to go to A & E with an allergic reaction which the A & E consultant identified as a reaction to Ramipril. Sure enough when I stopped Ramipril and replaced it with Amlodipine all my stomach problems were a thing
