pain relief
I have pills coming out of my ears at the moment and even contemplating taking
amitriptyline
today but am not happy taking all these meds as everything has side effects eventually and do not like the idea of taking what are happy pills, though a means to an end. Thank you.

Aimovig
I've been fortunate to be given Aimovig to try, does anyone know if you continue with your preventative tablets, i.e
amitriptyline
and propanolol or come off them altogether? Thanks

scalp tenderness
It does seem to ease slightly after taking 10mg
amitriptyline
. I have not received my next appointment with rheumatologist. Just wondering if I need to speak to my GP to see if I need to increase steroids. Thanks

Tablets - zopiclone/amitriptyline
I wondered if I should check about
amitriptyline
instead , as I have taken this before (prior to suffering tinnitus) so am more comfortable knowing I’ve never had an issue with it. Has anyone had a problem with tinnitus after taking
amitriptyline
?

Stabbing headache.. GCA? Update
She prescribed
amitriptyline
for the pain. I don't have pain in the back of my head or neck. Lots of blood taken for tests, all came back normal today ESR 17 CRP <5 . I think ESR was 50 when I was diagnosed with PMR in 2020.Thank you to all who offered advice and their own experiences.

IBS and Amitriptyline
I have started taking
Amitriptyline
10mg a day for Post infectious IBS-D. The whole week was ok with no symptoms but since yesterday, it started again while I ate some food out of my diet routine. My question is do I need to stick to low FODMAP diet while taking medicine or can I eat any food?

Amitriptyline and cortisol
Hi everyone, Here is one of many studies concluding that
amitriptyline
suppresses the HPA axis and significantly reduces cortisol levels. I have found many peer-reviewed articles claiming the same thing about opioids and benzodiazpines also, but it seems to be more pronounced for
amitriptyline
.
