Ferritin and depression anxiety!
Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the link between low ferritin and depression and anxiety! It seems I have had my thyroid levels optimal for a while now… me being me thought that because I had raise my ferritin from 40 to 80 that it would stay there with a measly maintenance dose of 20mg

Any suggestions please.
Hello. I wonder if you would be kind enough to give me your views on my latest results please. I currently take 100mcg thyroxine at bedtime. My GP withdrew my T3 ( 5mcg) around 5 years ago. Apparently it doesn't work and was too expensive. I feel dreadful. I'm underweight with a BMI of 18 and on top

T3 suppliers without prescription please
Hi there, Symptoms persist and recent bloods show a further decrease in conversion despite several changes to try to improve this (increasing vitamin levels and small decrease in Levothyroxine). I am looking to purchase T3 without a prescription and would appreciate private messages with reliable

Not believed
I was sent to Rheumatology last year as my hand keeps swelling and I can’t bend my fingers. This was after many years of other issues but I never put the puzzle together and thought I could have been suffering with an autoimmune disease. I have suffered with Angioedema since 2017, with my face blowing

Aristo out of stock 😨
Finally it’s happened here too…. I’ve worked my way through the small stock of Aristo T4 the pharmacist had stashed for me. They had 17 tablets available in a broken box 😲 As recommended, I’ve gone back to the GP asking for them to specify Vencamil/Aristo on the script and reissue. Luckily I’ve squirrelled

Bleeding after embryo transfer to positive test but low HCG increase
Following from my last post - the saga continues! I was bleeding heavily the week of my OTD. From there I continued to bleed on and off for another 2 weeks. The pregnancy tests were initially getting fainter so we assumed a chemical pregnancy from the transfer. Then I did a pregnancy test and it was

Maltofer
Hi -- just curious if anyone is using Maltofer to raise their ferritin? It's chief benefit is that it has fewer gastrointestinal side effects than the ferrous iron salts. Thanks.

Swallowing difficulty, have to chew meds.
About a year ago, I began getting my thyroid meds stuck in my throat. All my other meds, vits and minerals, being much larger, seem to go down ok, as they seem to have sufficient "weight" behind them. My magnesium capsule is the size of a suppository 🤣 and I can swallow that without a problem

NAC with ferritin deficiency or PA
Hi all. Just thought I’d pop in and ask my new friends if they know of any reason NAC shouldn’t be taken with iron tablets or B12, or whether NAC could actually have a negative effect on ferritin/B12 levels. Can’t find any info on this, so here I am 😊 I am awaiting latest blood results, so don’t

Have you experience of Chemotherapy and underactive thyroid?
I have recently completed chemo following surgery for a bowel tumour. I was wondering if anyone has experience of chemotherapy and underactive thyroid? I have continued to take 75 T4 and 20 T3. It’s difficult to know if the fatigue / sleep problems are to do with the thyroid or chemo. many thanks.
