I have a very unpleasant cold. I doubled my steroids as recommended by my adrenal help nurse. Forgot to ask how to reduce. I know I can go straight back to original dose after a week. If on a higher dose for 2 weeks or more do you have to taper off slowly? Appreciate advice

Have you checked for Covid?

You can theoretically drop straight back up to 10 to 14 days but a lot of people prefer to drop back in a couple of steps a few days apart.

I have adrenal insufficiency and have found that if I reduce too quickly it makes me sick.
