Pain!

I have been in bed for the past two hours crying with horrible pain, breathing like I am in labor. It seemed like the only thing that made sense. If I thought the hospital could help I would go there, but I know they won’t do anything for me. My pain medicine has kicked in finally so I think I will just go to sleep. I hope you are having a better night than this!

The really strange thing is that I had a great day. I got lots of things done and I had just the usual pain today. Maybe I overdid it and I am paying for it, not sure what I did that was too crazy though. Thanks for your kind words. 🤗

Amore55, I'm so sorry that you're in such terrible pain. It can be really scary to be home and have to deal with that! I will pray that it goes away quickly and you're able to get some rest. 🙏🙏🙏

It’s 3:00 in the morning and I’m still awake. Not a good night for sure, but the good news is that the sun will rise no matter how bad I feel! I will get a nap I guess.

I am so sorry to hear this! I was having horrific pain last fall when apparently the disc had been bulging and extruding in my back giving me referred pain into my thigh,knee and leg. Anyway, apparently it was all coming from my back. at one point I begged my husband just to cut my leg off with a chainsaw I thought it would’ve been better at the time. Luckily I found an amazing pain management. Doctor Who did my epidural injections and cut the switch on the pain. The crazy thing is nobody offered me anything more than gabapentin and lidocaine patches. I pray you have good doctors to help you figure out the source and that they can help you through it.

Agree, pain doctors can often get to the bottom of what's causing the pain and help you much more than other doctors. I know some people need gabapentin, but considering it's side effects, it's dismaying that doctors hand it out as if it's the answer to everything. I think it's because they don't have anything else to offer, with opioids being verboten for many doctors.

Oh dear! That sounds absolutely horrible! I hope your pain doctor can get to the bottom of it so you can get relief whenever it rears it's ugly head. I am so sorry to hear about what you're going through.

Well, a late response here, but how are you feeling today? I am sorry you had such a bad night. Is it possible you did over do it? I am cleaning out an empty bedroom left by a son. His brother's empty room is next. The effort on my body is brutal. (After 2 hours, I have to go lay on the couch [sofa?] the rest of the day).I hope you are better by now. Prayers for you. 🙏

Hello! I’m glad to hear from you. It’s possible that I overdid it, anything is possible. But I don’t think so. I’m going tomorrow to have 2 tests done and that might help answer some questions, depending on the results. If anything comes up, I will keep you posted. Be kind to yourself! Don’t do too much too fast! 🤗
