Maunt- that’s a mom aunt.. my sister died suddenly about 12 years ago leaving her only daughter motherless and fatherless ( my niece had already lost her big brother as well)

my husband and I ( plus our children) stepped in to try to fill the empty void in her life. I became her “Maunt “ filled with hugs and love and unsolicited advice..

I'm sorry about your sister. Your niece has been through a lot, but it sounds like you and your family have really been there for her.

Thank you so much. There was an awful lot of loss in the family in a fairly short period of time.. it was pretty rough on all of us.. it has been a blessing for things to calm down just a bit and focus on being a family 🤗

Beautifully said, stepsforNeeC. This is my second Mother's Day without my precious mom who passed last March. I miss her more than I can say. I am grateful for all the years we had and the treasured memories.

I'm so sorry you lost your Mom! I'm missing my grandma who died in 2021 at the age of 101. She was like a second mother to me. All my memories of her are a comfort to me, as well.

Precious words. I lost my mom four years ago. I miss her so much. But I am thankful to God for allowing us to spend so many years together. Happy Mother's day to everyone. Honor and Love always. ❤️

My mom was diagnosed finally in 1973. Way before DMT’s my mother had been having weird symptoms like partial vision loss ( finally resolving) 15-18 years before that. She lived until the month before she turned 87.. she was hanging in there with untreated MS but it was an aggressive lung cancer that got her in 2015..very sad. I miss her a lot too
