sct update so far

I just wanted let you all know how iam getting on I have been in since the 29 and have been having chemo daily I have had no side effects so far my doctor said I can take chemotherapy like water but don’t get to ahead of myself as this is the easy bit which I knew from countless hours of research but iam doing better than expected I have one more bag today Tuesday then tomorrow is the big day I get my donor cells I wish I could tell my donor how extremely thankful iam to them for giving me such an incredible gift I have written a letter to them my doctor said this would be ok my hubby is doing really well they managed remove the cancer and they have given him some chemo tablets just to make sure it doesn’t return it has a name it’s called a gist and luckily it was found early so I have positive news to focus on I just wanted thank each and everyone of you your posts got me through when I needed it most and I was wondering if I was doing the right thing but hearing from you all gives me hope so thank you I will try update again when I can but I have a feeling things may start to get tough now but iam ready as I will ever be god bless you all and I wish all well in your journeys x

the last few days up to the arrival of the donor cell, and first few after, were the tough ones. Glad it had gone okay for you. I wrote to my donor on the day I got her cells but could not share any info, just say thanks for being there. I wrote again at one and two years before following through to meet her.
