Received a call this afternoon asking if I can come into hospital immediately.
So here I am in my room and op planned for 8 in the morning. I have had Covid test and bloods done, just waiting to go for x ray. It’s been a mad rush which is ok as I doesn’t give me time to think too much. After having op cancelled on Monday rescheduled on Wednesday and called in today it’s all been a bit crazy. My only bad news is I went to do a big shop this morning and bought as much as I could to last me till my new date(13 July) so my fridge is absolutely rammed
Off for X-ray now be back in touch after op.

Didn’t I say don’t unpack your bag! Great news doesn’t give you much time to think which isn’t a bad thing, will be thinking of you tomorrow, I was first on the list for my op so it does mean your not waiting around.
So you will be soon on the road to recovery, and enjoying life again.
WOW! Talk about feet not touching the ground, but apart from the food 😏, all good, best wishes for tomorrow
Hello
We have not spoken before but I read your post when you got your op cancelled and admired your response and I am so pleased to see you are now getting yours and wish you all the best and a speedy recovery and a bonus would be if some of that food is still in date when you get home again x
Wishing you lots of luck and a speedy recovery. Your positive attitude over the cancelled ops will get you through safe and well. Look forward to seeing your updated post and thinking of you this morning
Thinking of you today - you will be in the theatre by now so lots of good thoughts winging their way to you. Looking forward to you posting in a day or two
I was first on the list but didn't get done until after lunch which was a pain...! Hope you're done already and good luck with your recovery. Get someone to sort out your fridge!
Having trouble for some reason with this site, so just wanted to make sure my good wishes, added to all the others, were sent, so forgive repetition if the first one came through. Good news to read first thing and wishing you all the luck in the world. Thanks for keeping everyone in the picture and looking forward to hearing how you are after the op.
Thanks - that's reassuring, my first thought is always what have I done! So I'll be patient and see what happens. I appreciate this site so like to feel and keep in touch.
