Just curious - have had cancer 6 times now, breast cancer x 3; bowel; lung; 5 times all operated on & fine, now this 6th time caused by the radiotherapy I had 25 years ago for my breast cancer caused my squamous lung cancer, not operable + of course no radiotherapy as I've had the max - was only discovered as I was hospitalised after not being able to breath, was told it was COPD but investigated and given the result, 5 months! but you can have chemo/immuotherapy, yes please! So I am still here, thanks to the Marsden, 4 cycles - now just on immunotherapy - have just read about durvalumab which I have never heard of, I', on the usual pembrolizumab - has anyone had experience or can tell me the difference between the two please? I know I'm on extended time, but am greedy and would like more!

Wow you certainly have been through A LOT! But you have also come through each time!!!! Can I ask what type of lung cancer you have had in the past- stage of each one? Did they do genetic testing each time? Recur in same lung or differnt? How was each one treated? Just surgery and nothing else after? You sound like a really strong person you can get through this as well! Thoughts are with you.
