the weight of an empty ventolin container (after the alloted 200 puffs)?

Going by this chart, it's 11.81 when completely empty. I think it means 11.81 in grams. My understanding of ventolin is that it's starts to weaken when about 70% has been used, so I tend to replace it when I think it's about half way through.

Don't forget that some of the content is the propellant, so if the container is completely empty then you've been inhaling propellant for the last - I dont know how many puffs. Annoying that ventolin doesn't have a counter considering one container lasts some of us many months 🙄

I stick date i started using it.If you know near enough how many puffs you take each day just deduct from total amount in inhaler, not exact but closer than just nothing.

You can get a small bowl of water. Put the canister in (without the outer case) and if it sinks, it's full. If it floats, its empty. Usually, the bottom starts to poke upwards and the top sits on the bottom of the bowl gradually making it's way upwards the more it's used.

This was guidance from the Asthma association a few years ago and I've found it helpful. I have Ventolin in three different places (handbag, kitchen and bedroom) as when I need it, I need it asap, but fortunately, I don't need it often. Every so often, I check the use by dates and pop them in a bowl of water to make sure they are still useable.
