stressed out

I’ve been having headaches every single day for over a month. I’ve seen the dr twice he said there’s nothing alarming and he will just monitor me, I take Tylenol every 4-5hrs which I didn’t know it was only supposed to be every 6 hrs, I’m not sure what’s causing these headaches. It might be stress considering we are moving in a week to a different state but I don’t feel stressed to be completely honest. It could be my lack of sleep or the fact I have 3 kids under 5, one of them being an infant. I’m at my wits end with these headaches. I had a sinus infection a little while ago I thought that was the cause but the infection is gone and I still have them, I’ve been having them since about 8 weeks postpartum, I am now over 3 months postpartum. I can say a couple things that don’t help, I don’t eat how I’m supposed to, probably one meal a day if that, I do try my best to stay hydrated though, I don’t sleep how I should I toss and turn when I do finally fall asleep. Does anyone else have this issue? I’m at a loss of what to do, if I relax too much to makes it worse, if I do things and then finally relax it’s just as bad, hot showers help and Tylenol only takes the edge off and helps for a couple hours reasons I’ve been taking it every 4-5 hours. These headaches make me worry something more is going on but the dr tell me I’m fine and he sees nothing worrying.

Hi, I've had the same thing. I went to see a neurologist. I had an EKG and an MRI done. Both were normal. My head feels muddled all the time too and blocks everything out, like I can't think straight, and from any positive emotions to help my depression. The Dr gave me meloxicam and told me to take it for to weeks. It's helped with the headaches but my head is still muddled and my ears are constantly ringing. Does any of this happen to you?

Hi Icantwait, I might have written you before when these headaches first started but

I will say the same thing again. Suffering day after day after day with horrible headaches

as well as interrupted by several days of cycle migraines. Had all the tests done by a

Neurologist and it kept coming down to stress related muscular contraction headaches.

I did find out that "rebound" headaches are very common with the patient who takes

over the counter medication. After a while, it not only doesn't work but you can get

these rebound headaches which are just as bad. Finding other ways to content with

your stress (I know it is very difficult in what your situation is) by using some "me time"

to meditate and just be in the moment.

Not going into a deep REM sleep is another stressor since your muscles cannot

regenerate while tossing and turning. Is there any one who can help you with the

children and all that is going on. It's too much to carry on your shoulders alone.

I wish you well with the move. We're here for you. :) xx
