Does 7.5 mg Mirtrazapine work on anxiety?

I am wondering if 7.5 mg Mirtrazapine does anything for anxiety. Someone mentioned at that dose its really just an antihistamine. I have been on the 7.5 mg and for the most part the anxiety has been under control so thinking of going off as it was just to get my stomach going again and then think about going on something that is better suited for me. I know its used for sleeping at the 7.5 mg. Maybe I am holding my own naturally!!!

My experience has been to never underestimate the power of those tiny pills. It is really common to think you are doing “okay”, go off a medication, and find out you feel like garbage again. I never used to want to take medication but when I realized that my “good mood” chemicals were all out of wack, I realized I needed something to help my system reset. Maybe talk to your doctor?

Hi , you could very well be holding your own there as you say , I was prescribed 7.5mg to aid sleep , & Propranolol for Anxiety , best ask your Dr though , good luck .
