Scared and worried......my blood test results......

I've been going through huge med changes for 6 weeks now, finally giving Trintillex a chance. INTERSTING FACT** I just had a huge blood workover done......shocked today to learn .....my iron is a 5...... normal is between 35-44........this is dangerously low and may explain so much I've been suffering from the symptoms are intense and can replicate mental health conditions ........Anemia can cause anxiety, Trichotillomania(hair pulling) red blood cells badly affected and cannot carry enough oxygen to your brain. Can cause confusion, and so much more......I start my supplements tommorrow 300mgs for 100 days.🤒 Ironically my 15 yr. Old daughter with mental health issues was diagnosed with the exact same level of iron deficiency "5" last week. Please to anyone in here who hasn't had blood work done lately but your feeling worse PLEASE GET A BLOOD TEST DONE❤ It's not everyone's answer but it sure as hell explains alot for myself and my Daughter❤

Best of luck to you and your daughter. The good thing is you now know so you can begin your treatment. Are you being followed by a hematologist?.. a blood specialized doctor?

No , our doctors didn't seem too worried but I hear that most doctors worry when it's 12.......☹️

What are you eating? Do you have a Restrictive diet at all? Cultural restrictions on certain foods?

Definitely need your iron boosted, as well as your daughter.

Not great diets, we are both on heavy mental health meds and have had unsurmountable stressors. Not sure how long it even takes for iron to go this low.....

I am on a new medication, I'm eating , sleeping , my skin isn't yellow and I feel like I am living again. ❤
