Newbie Ruby :-)
I am on
Amitriptyline
and Tramadol but it does not take away the gnawing pain in my pelvis and legs - also, I have not bled for 3 months this time around - that's just not normal. Sorry for being a bit blue today - will do my best to keep my chin up! Have a lovely day all :-)

Have I got COPD?
I'm getting a little worried about my condition, I feel like someone is squeezing air out of my throat every time I inhale, I currently take
amitriptyline
which were prescribed as a muscle relaxant for my throat when modules were found on my voice box, tbh my throat has never really felt right since

Sleeping is a nightmare
When I described my problem to my neurologist, he said I should drop the
amitriptyline
as it might be contributing to the problem and start a SSRI instead. I have similar reservations about that. For the last week I reduced my
amitriptyline
to 10mg, but things have deteriorated.

Sleep paralysis
The following week I saw my neurologist who said he would rather I stopped the
amitriptyline
and take an SSRI instead. So far, all I have done is reduce the
amitriptyline
to 10mg.

Not feeling right is this Candida?
I started having headaches which went on for 8 days without shifting even when I took strong painkillers, I went to the doctors and she said she thought it was tension headaches and gave me
Amitriptyline
low dose for a month.

Advice needed
I have a mild form of Fibro and take 2 x 25ml of
Amitriptyline
at night this is for pain in my hips and back as otherwise I get out of bed in the morning crawling around the place on my hands knees. If the pain is really bad I take Naproxen and Codeine.

After consultant update
She has written a letter to my doctor (why can't they email) to ask him To prescribe me some
amitriptyline
and naproxen. I hope these are better than the tramadol, zapain and ibruprofen I've been taking.

COELIAC DISEASE WITH IBS
I take
amitriptyline
at night for the pain. I have had meds for acid reflux but they really don't work for me. If anyone has coeliac disease and IBS symptoms I would be very interested to know that I am not alone!!

Migraines worsening
I have been to the doctor and he's put me on 10mg
amitriptyline
and 50mg sumatriptan. Both of which seem to be doing nothing.

Constant pain
The doctor said it was linked to diabetic nerve damage and gave me
amitriptyline
. At first it helped now I've had a bad flare up. Constant pain and feeling of needing to pee but no relief when I do. There's no stinging or burning when I go. Just the bladder pain. I'm going back to go this week.

8 weeks of daily headaches :-(
I am taking Naproxen twice daily,
amitriptyline
at night, receiving chiropractic treatment and even bought new glasses. I am signed off work as I can't even walk upstairs without it making my headaches worse :-( really fed up and miserable now.

Amitriptyline, celexa, and klonopin
I have been off
amitriptyline
now for 3 weeks. The doctors took all my meds off me 3 weeks ago bc of serotonin toxicity. The withdrawals were horrid. Then a week later they started me back on 5mg of celexa and 4 days ago klonopin to sleep. My stomach pain is just grueling.
