Hello, I am suffering excruciating pain under my right breast. During an attack it moves and it's very hard to breathe. I have had so many diagnosis for this from a broken rib to gallbladder, then to costochrondritis then pancreatitis. I recently had an endoscopy and colonoscopy which showed cysts on my colon and inflammation of the bowel. A ct scan showed cysts on my liver and pancreas. I am having severe attacks of pain under my right breast which moves. I am convinced the pain is coming from my pancreas or liver. Has anyone else experienced this. I had hep c from contaminated factor 8 for 33 years. I cleared the hep c in 2015 with treatment. I have fibrosis of the liver. My Dr says the liver has no nerves so you can't feel pain from it but I am not so sure. I have a poor appetite and have lost weight.

Hi Glynis, I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling poorly. I think it would be worth going back to the GP again as you’ve got new symptoms - the loss of appetite and weight loss. Hopefully when they add these to the results of tests you’ve already had, they will come up with some treatment to make you feel better. In the meantime a hot water bottle or a wheat sack is my go too pain relief method, especially when it’s this cold

Hey Glynis, the only things that seem likely to me is that (when liver is cause) the liver itself doesnt hurt because there s no nerves; however If you have an enlarged liver it will be painful because its touching other organs... Further I would go back to GP to check everything out again ...

Best of luck to you

Grtz
