I had an NSTEMI June 2019 and received 2 stents in LAD and LCX for 90% and 80% blockage.
Before I was discharged I had an echocardiogram that showed left ventricle wall stunning due to ischemia and an ejection fraction of 46%.
I hadn't seen a cardiologist since discharge and chose to see one privately this week for follow-up.
A repeat echo yesterday showed my EF was now 65%. I am on the usual meds. Bisoprolol, statin, and aspirin. I was surprised that it could improve that much!

Well done you, that certainly gives the rest of us hope.
I had two echo's 3 months apart after my Stemi and seven stents, with the second showing the same EF of 38(ish)%, however, with positive signs of the stunned parts starting to 'wake-up'.
Hopefully I can copy and continue to improve, but really great news, yaaay.
It took about a year to 18 months for me to feel back to normal. Lots of weird fleeting pains in my shoulders, arms and chest in the first 12 months. Aching between my shoulders if I walked quickly. Regular walking 2 -3 miles several times a week and gardening helped a lot.
Weirdly the more I move/exercise the fewer odd sensations I get, just when I'm completely relaxed, still get quite tired though. Goes to show there is great hope moving forward, pity the demons creep back occasionally.
