Bisoprolol

Hi lamplight 37. I take 1.25mg of Bisoprolol once a day was on 2.50mg but felt horrid. Seems good for me the lower dose been on just over a yrAlthough not seen a doctor or had any guidance from them since they lowered it !!

Fatigue comes from high H/R and persistent.

Breathless and fatigue came from Metoprolol along with night showing the 24-hr monitor 2 x 2 sec pauses.

It is now banned from me.

Changed to Bisoprolol BB only dropped avge day H/R from 187 down to 156 and left by H/Specialist DHB.

With prompting from a new Lcum Dr who had had an ablation for her aF referred me to a private and public H/Specialist.

He introduced CCB.

At the weekend I took it 1/2 full dose of Diltiazem. H/R dropped 105 beats per minute in 2 hours.

Twinking doses it has settled and balanced on

CCB Diltiazem 120 AM

2.5mg Bisoprolol BB PM

No more pauses, controlled H/R to 60s Day by Diltiazem at rest

and. controlled BP to 123/69 Day at rest

My exerting walks and jobs at home are increasing.

Never heard Bisoprolol causing nose bleeds. High BP???

GPs dont like changing meds - just raising them which was not good enough in the plight to get me controlled.

Operation went ahead in March 2022 when the CCB kept my H/R 88-96. I had 2 anaesthetists in the room.

A year on CCB H/R fallen to 60s. Always 47 at night asleep. Meds or nt.

Bisoprolol works on my BP mainly.
